What?
Join us for a healthy holidays cooking class, led by 8-time vegan cookbook author Tess Challis. She’s been teaching vegan cooking for over 25 years, and LOVES getting people excited about making scrumptious (yet healthy!!) food in their own homes. You will leave feeling confident you can make this your healthiest, most delicious holiday season yet!!
We’ll be making the following delicious, plant-strong (and vegan, of course!) dishes in class:
whole food, plant-based mashed potatoes (gluten-free)
whole food, plant-based gravy (gluten-free)
roasted rosemary butternut squash (gluten-free)
no-bake chocolate peanut butter cookies (gluten-free and naturally sweetened)
BONUS: There will also be a sampling of Tess’s favorite holiday foods to enjoy in class! Including:
almost raw pumpkin pie (gluten-free and locally made)
gluten-free rolls with a selection of vegan butters
at least three vegan roasts to sample (these may contain gluten)
assorted vegan dips and crackers by local artisans (all gluten-free)
EXTRA BONUS: A copy of Tess’s first cookbook ($25 value) included for each student!
When and where?
Sunday, November 7th from 3-5 PM in Ahwatukee foothills (exact location will be emailed to you before class)
How many?
Class size is limited to ONLY 13 STUDENTS. Please reserve your seat ASAP if you would like to join us. Additionally, a COVID safety protocol will be in place: Please provide either proof of vaccination or a negative covid test (taken within 72 hours of class). Thank you for understanding! :)
